Hot Box Food Truck – Video Testimonial
The Hot Box Food Truck: Next Level Street Food
Food trucks and trailers are popping up everywhere. In many cases, they line the street side by side, so the need for an attention-grabbing vehicle wrap design is crucial to all food truck owners. Chef Michael Bowling decided to redesign his Hot Box food truck to stand out from his competition. Marshal Zalewski designed the wrap to incorporate the familiar branding in a more vibrant presentation. Josh Elsenheimer installed this wrap.

Michael Bowling: Next Level Chef
The Hot Box is a vision of “Next Level Street Food,” incorporating international-inspired cuisine with a southern flair. Experience the tastes of the world with a hint of local elements through an entirely mobile kitchen and catering service. A sampling of the Hot Box’s signature staples includes Savory Parmesan & Herb Risotto Fritters, House-made Ramen, the Classic Reuben, Smoked Chicken Pita, and Cauliflower & Potato Curry. The dishes change to bring in the freshest seasonal ingredients available. The flavors and tastes one experiences when one eats one of our dishes are explosive!
Chef Bowling is a native of Roanoke, Virginia, and started out working as an amateur in local restaurants. After seeing photos of his sister’s fine dining experiences while traveling abroad, he was inspired to apply to work at The Meeting House, a local fine dining restaurant. Chef Tom Ford saw something in Bowling, hired him to work in his kitchen, and encouraged him to get formal culinary training. He attended Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, SC.
While in the culinary program, he worked at one of the “Top 50” restaurants in the country, exposing him to the real art of being a Chef. Upon graduation, he honed his culinary and leadership skills working and managing several restaurants in Virginia. In 2005, Chef Bowling opened his restaurant, “The Bistro at Campbell,” featuring dishes such as Grilled Pork Tenderloin with Spicy Mango Glaze and Tea-Smoked Beef Tenderloin with Cognac-infused Demi-Glaze. He was indeed in his element there, as both the creative director and leader behind the restaurant’s success!
